Although the term “enablement” sometimes has a negative connotation, it can bring a lot of good in the complex sales world if done right. The term is thrown out there a lot, but with misconceptions and myths, it can get confusing quickly. So, what exactly is enablement? I use it to mean training sales reps to get educated, sell and coach.

I believe the future of enablement means moving away from traditional enablement toward true collaboration. With modern enablement, you will gain a deeper understanding of how to structure your teams for more consistency, ultimately resulting in more customer success.
